CanariasLife Webcams was created in 2014

when I was planning a trip to the Canary Islands and noticed that there were no live images of the destination, especially in Tenerife and other islands. Realizing this opportunity, I contacted Skylinewebcams, a leading platform for live images of tourist destinations, which still did not cover the Canary Islands.

I decided to request the inclusion of the Canary Islands in their network and become a licensee of their business model, taking on the installation and maintenance of the webcams. This is how CanariasLife Webcams , an exclusive portal to provide high-definition real-time images of the most emblematic places in the archipelago, was born.

CanariasLife Webcams is an official partner of Skylinewebcams and offers infrastructure for webcams in the Canary Islands to promote tourist spaces in real-time. The service allows for live connections with beaches, urban centers, natural parks, or other points of interest from any device.

Moreover, we are developing a 100% sustainable (“full green”) system to power the cameras in places without access to electricity. This expands our coverage to remote areas of high tourist value. We have also incorporated underwater streaming solutions, allowing us to showcase the marine richness of the Canary Islands, which is uncommon on a global level.

Our innovative approach has also led to complementary projects such as AdrenaLive (for athletes) and IglesiaMia (to broadcast religious events), overcoming visibility and accessibility barriers.
