Patalavaca Beach, a quiet corner on the Mogán coast

Patalavaca beach is one of the most tranquil sandy beaches in the southwest of Gran Canaria. Located between Arguineguín and Anfi del Mar, in the municipality of Mogán, this coast of about 300 meters stands out for its clean waters, calm atmosphere, and a human scale that is scarce in the south of the island. The low buildings in the area do not interrupt the views, and when the tide is low, the sand divides into two small coves that give the landscape a unique character.

Thanks to its position, Patalavaca beach is well protected from the wind, and the waves are usually gentle for most of the year. Therefore, it is a quiet beach ideal for swimming calmly or spending the day without rush, with the Atlantic always in sight.
