Teide is a volcano located on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain. With an impressive altitude of 3,715 meters above sea level and 7,500 meters above the ocean floor, it is the highest peak in Spain, surpassing any other point emerging in the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, it ranks as the third-highest volcano on Earth from its base on the ocean floor, only surpassed by Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa in Hawaii.

The Teide National Park was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007 in the Natural category. Moreover, it holds the European Diploma from the Council of Europe and is part of the Natura 2000 Network Sites. Awarded with all these honors, Teide is the most complete representation of supra-Mediterranean vegetation and one of the most spectacular manifestations of volcanism in the world.
In winter, Teide is adorned with white snow, offering a unique landscape. The best way to reach its highest point is by cable car. From the arrival point, you can enjoy incredible views and trails that make it a must-visit in Tenerife and the Canary Islands.
