The well-known Las Vistas Beach is located in Los Cristianos, municipality of Arona, in the south of the island of Tenerife.

It is a beach of about 950 meters long and 80 meters wide average, with fine golden-white sand.

The beach is formed by several containment dikes that make the waves are soft, has a fountain in the center of the beach. It is also bordered by an avenue known as Paseo de Las Vistas which connects to the Los Cristianos Beach without doubt, an ideal beach to enjoy with the family.

It has various services such as: accessibility, toilets, showers, sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, lifeguards, etc., that have made it get for several years the famous Blue Flag.

The Blue Flag is an award given annually since 1987 by the European Foundation for Environmental Education to beaches and ports that meet a series of environmental conditions and facilities. Therefore, it guarantees the unbeatable conditions that this beach in the south of Tenerife has.

Las Vistas Beach is considered a more touristy beach as it is surrounded by apartments and hotels, while that of Los Cristianos is more considered the beach of the town, although the truth is that both Playa de Las Vistas and Playa de los Cristianos are extremely touristy and with a high occupancy rate almost all year round, due to the good weather that accompanies this area throughout the year.

At La Playa Las Vistas you can choose to lie on the sand and soak up the rich sun that bathes Tenerife and relax, or if you prefer, you can also rent a hammock and umbrella, as the beach is full of hammock rental areas.

On the beach you can also find volleyball nets, so if you feel like it, you can also get some exercise on the beach practising this sport, while enjoying the sun and the views.

Las Vistas Beach is among the twelve beaches in Tenerife adapted for people with disabilities or reduced mobility who use wheelchairs, so it is defined as «Accessible Beach» by the Cabildo de Tenerife, with reserved parking, showers, ramps and access walkways.

Along the promenade that hugs the beach, you can find plenty of bars where you can have a drink, restaurants to taste the typical gastronomy and that of other countries, cafes and even a McDonald’s for fast food lovers.
