The beach of Los Cristianos is located in the town with the same name, within the municipality of Arona, in the south of the island of Tenerife. Sheltered by the Puerto de Los Cristianos it was one of the first striking beaches for tourists in the 1960s. About 345 metres long and about 80 metres wide on average, it has clear sand and numerous services.

Bordered by Avenida Juan Alfonso Batista, it has sailing school, beach volleyball court and diving school.

Numerous fishing boats coexist with pleasure boats in the fishing-sports harbour.

Ideal place to try typical seafood dishes in the vicinity of the beach. The beach of Los Cristianos is very fine golden sand, it is an ideal beach to lie and sunbathe for hours without worries, you can also do it with a hammock and umbrella, as it has the rental service of these.

Around Los Cristianos beach, you can enjoy a pleasant walk, visiting shops and restaurants with typical local dishes and international food.

Playa de los Cristianos is characterized by being a beach with fairly calm waters, so it is ideal to spend a family day with children and also during any time of the year, since on the southern slope of the island of Tenerife the weather is usually good all year round.

The beach has several volleyball nets, and it is very common that championships of this sport are organized throughout the year.

It is one of the twelve beaches of Tenerife adapted for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, which make use of wheelchairs, so it is defined as «Accessible Beach» by the Cabildo de Tenerife, with reserved parking, showers, ramps and access walkways.

This beach also has a Cruz Roja.
